Oakland, CA

Integral Group’s Oakland Design Studio has rapidly grown to over 100 people due in part to the growing need for sustainable design. With an existing cultural norm where locally sourced food and organic living is customary, Oakland staff are familiarizing themselves with spaces that are self-sustaining – using environmentally-friendly products and incorporating nature’s tools in their designs. Serving the West Coast and beyond, the Oakland office prides itself on its culture and passion for deep green engineering.

The Oakland Studio uses 37% less energy than a typical U.S. office building of its size as compared to California’s Title 24 Energy Efficiency Code. The office redesigned earned a LEED Platinum rating (CI 2009) with 102 out of a possible 110 points, which at this time is the world’s highest score.
